Encash your Clickbank Check Philippines

Just a few weeks ago, I received my US Check from Clickbank. But now here’s the question that popped up my mind… How am I going to encash this Clickbank check of mine here in the Philippines?? So if you’ve already received or just about to receive your US Dollar Earnings check from your Online Businesses, then this post will be to guide you on how to encash your Clickbank check in the Philippines.

After I received my check I immediately “Googled” (wow a new word) ways on how to encash a clickbank check. I found out that several Pinoys have had several problems with this because most banks here in the Philippines are still ignorant on the fact that a lot of Filipinos are earning several thousands of dollars from the Internet already. Some had problems depositing their US Dollar checks because they don’t know Clickbank, and some was even asked for a screenshot of their Sales report from Clickbank because they were wondering where the money came from! What the heck??

So to save your time (time=money), and stress from dealing with these problems, I’m going to share to you my experience how I was also faced with that same problem (so you don’t have to go through it again), and how I encashed (deposited really) my clickbank check.

bdo banco de oroFirst is that the banks here in the Philippines won’t accept direct deposit of your US Dollar checks to your normal Peso savings account. So you need to open up a new dollar account. I first called up BDO (Banco De Oro) to inquire, and they said that they need 2 Valid IDs (even though the Government law states that only 1 ID is required), their also gonna need a 1X1 Picture plus your $200 initial deposit. But I had one problem, I only have 1 Valid ID available which is my Driver’s License, and I still don’t have my Voter’s ID so I opted to my Voter’s Affidavit instead. When I went to BDO and inquired about opening a new dollar account and giving them the requirements… But, they won’t accept my Driver’s License and my Voter’s Affidavit, they said they need my Passport! And they won’t accept my $500 Check from Clickbank as an initial deposit. THEY REJECTED ME! Simple as that! (even though I’m already a long time BDO client!).

bpi Bank of the Philippine Island

So I left them for good and transferred to BPI (Bank of the Philippine Island), there I was treated nicely, instantly gave me an application form, asked me what account I’m going to open.. without checking yet what ID I was bringing! Smooth! So when they asked for my ID, I only gave them my Drivers License and didn’t asked for more. The initial deposit though is a bit higher, $500, but they accepted my US Dollar check as my initial deposit! Cool. After that she then processed my application and in just 5-10 mins… it was DONE! No HASSLES! Not only that, after the application was done, they asked me if I’m regularly receiving checks from Clickbank already.. and i said yes. They then suggested that I can contact Clickbank and change my Payout Method to Direct banking to save time! They said that BPI is accredited to many online business transactions like Paypal. They sure understand online business. They then gave me their routing number for the Direct Bank deposits. So for my next Clickbank payments, I won’t have to wait for 3 weeks or more for my check to arrive, in just 2-3 days, I’ll receive instantly through my BPI Dollar Savings account!! Super cool!

So if you’re planning to open a dollar account for your US Dollar Earning checks, go with BPI. They’re not ignorant of Pinoys making money online, unlike other banks out there. And by the way, this post is not sponsored by BPI (Bank of the Philippine Island), they just did great at their service.. so sorry BDO (Banco De Oro), you simply suck. Sure enough, as what Robin Sharma said… “nothing fails like success”.. like BDO. :P

How about you? Do you have similar or other experiences you can share on how to encash your Clickbank check here in the Philippines? :)

Feel Great Always!
